Surging global cases of COVID-19 threaten Australia’s vaccine exit strategy – Sydney Morning Herald
No region has been spared in the latest wave of COVID-19 cases, which are increasingly infectious, harmful to young people and possibly immune to vaccines.
Two seemingly incompatible statistics were released on Friday. The number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered worldwide reached 878 million and more than 832,000 new infections were reported.
