Supercars forced to postpone Winton round due to Melbourne’s COVID-19 outbreak – Wide World of Sports
‘Regrettable decision’
Supercars has been forced to postpone this weekend’s round of the championship, scheduled for Winton in northern Victoria.
It comes as Victoria records another 12 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number in the latest outbreak to 26, and triggering a seven-day lockdown.
The event is likely to be rescheduled for the gap between the Townsville round in early July and the Sydney SuperNight in late August.
