Super Rugby AU coaches and players say ‘make it happen’ as the proposed Trans-Tasman competition becomes feasible

It was the news rugby fans on both sides of the Tasman have been waiting more than a year for.
Confirmation from New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern on Monday that quarantine-free travel will be allowed from New Zealand to Australia from April 19 means the Super Rugby teams from either country are a major step closer to meeting again on the field.
When the national rugby bodies of both Australia and New Zealand, along with southern hemisphere governing body SANZAAR, confirmed in November last year that stand-alone domestic seasons would be played again in 2021, they also announced plans for a cross-over competition to follow.
