Fans release an extended cut of 1993’s Super Mario Bros. movie, featuring never-before-seen footage cut from the original release.

A group of fans have released an extended cut of the 1993 Super Mario Bros. movie featuring previously undiscovered deleted scenes from the film.
Entitled “The Morton Jankel Cut” in honor of the film’s husband-and-wife directing team, the new version extends Super Mario Bros. from its original runtime of 104 minutes to a robust 125 minutes, adding over 20 minutes of additional and extended scenes to the film.
The never-before-seen footage includes a subplot that was cut from the original release…
