Sunshine Coast aged care centre locked down as three display symptoms – Brisbane Times
Immanuel Gardens Aged Care Centre in Buderim has closed The Terrace section of its accommodation to all visitors.
“We will remain in close contact with family members of the residents throughout this time.”
The spokeswoman said the residents had been isolated and would “remain under close monitoring and full care” until their test results came back.
“At this stage, we have closed The Terrace to visitors,” she said.
“Our team is working with the Sunshine Coast Public Health Unit and following procedures recommended by the Department of Health and the Communicable Diseases Network of Australia.”
