On Sunday, the governor’s office announced 2,860 new cases of COVID-19.

FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) On Sunday, the governor’s office announced 2,860 new cases of COVID-19.
The state’s daily report also shows 25 more Kentuckians have died after contracting COVID-19.
The death toll from the pandemic is now 2,723.
The positivity rate has increased to 11.12%, up from 10.79% on Saturday.
Currently, there are 1,677 COVID-positive patients in Kentucky hospitals. 421 of those patients are in the ICU and 196 are using a ventilator.
