An entire shopping centre in Melbournes northwest is on COVID alert as a virus outbreak linked to a quarantine hotel continues to grow.
On Wednesday afternoon, the health department confirmed a third worker and second guest of the Holiday Inn at Melbourne Airport returned positive tests.
It brings the size of the cluster to eight.
A number of potential exposure sites were added to the list, including two banks and multiple stores inside Sunbury Square Shopping Centre.
