Only 48 hours after clocking the third fastest one-day international hundred for Australia, Steve Smith did it again with a statistically carbon copy century.
Smith’s 104 runs from 64 balls, his fifth one-day ton against India, helped catapult Australia to another huge total of 4-389 – their third highest ever – and he signed off on a brilliant outing with a full-length diving effort in the field to send the tourists’ No.4, Shreyas Iyer, on his way on Sunday night.
It was his exploits with the bat, however, that will give India cause for serious concern.
