Suburbs with 4,400 stink complaints in a single year
New figures have revealed the state government’s Odour Abatement Taskforce, based in the Swanbank Industrial Area, received more than 4,400 odour reports in 2020 – with Ripley residents complaining the most.Last year’s odour figures were up 38 per cent from 2019, with the task force putting it down to the increasing local awareness of the team, the growing number of residential developments as well as how more people were working from home.The most common complaints in 2020 were about waste and…
