People who have been infected with COVID-19 are likely to be protected against catching it again for at least five months, a new study suggests.
The research by Public Health England (PHE) found that past infection makes you 83 per cent less likely to contract the virus, compared to people who have not been infected before.
The study saw almost 21,000 health workers from across the United Kingdom regularly tested from June last year.
