Study of lockdown babies to examine if allergic conditions are more common during pandemic – Wales Online
It will investigate if social distancing and isolation affects the development of conditions like asthma and hay fever

Scientists have started new research to assess whether babies born during lockdown are more likely to develop allergies.
The study will bring together experts from the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland (RCSI) and the Childrens Hospital at Temple Street.
It will investigate if lower rates of viral infections and improved air quality during lockdown will make allergic conditions more or less common in children born to families living with social distancing and isolation.
