Hot flashes, insomnia, and vaginal dryness are commonly reported symptoms that accompany the menopause transition. A new study suggests that such symptoms–especially psychological and sexual problems–are worse for women who have premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) than for women undergoing natural menopause.
