Student impaled in GROIN by javelin at Gold Coast school
A student has suffered an injury to the groin after being impaled by a javelin at a Gold Coast school.
Paramedics arrived at Saint Stephens College in Coomera on Wednesday morning to find the male student impaled on the javelin.
Firefighters were called in to help remove the object.
The 12 year old boy’s injuries have been deemed non-life threatening.
He has been transported to hospital after being treated by paramedics at the scene.
