Melbourne residents have been left confused after a bizarre line of lights hovered over the city early in the morning.
Multiple people reported bright lights over Melbourne from 5am on Tuesday and some said they were shining for up to 20 minutes while moving over.
I live in Frankston North and it looked like the lights were following each other, one resident told 7NEWS.
