Storms forecast across north and western Queensland with emergency alerts for South Burnett and Jandowae

Storms are set to hit north and western Queensland today after lashing the south-east.

The State Emergency Service (SES) has received about 140 calls for help since yesterday, mostly in Brisbane and Moreton Bay.
