Melbourne’s hopes of continuing their recent dominance over the Eels copped a huge blow with Jesse Bromwich found guilty of a hip-drop tackle at the judiciary.

Victory to the Eels will put them level with Melbourne on the ladder and keep alive their top-two hopes.
The hip drop tackle, where a player drops his body weight on to the back of a player’s legs or feet, usually as the third man in, has crept into the game since the resumption of the season.
