Stones Corner’s Hanlon Park gets revamp as council work to cement ecosystem’s future

When you envision enormous excavators pulling up part of a local creek, it certainly doesn’t sound like a win for the natural habitat — but in this case, it could be.

Half a kilometre of concrete channel will be ripped out and replaced with a natural ecosystem in an effort by Brisbane City Council to rejuvenate a section of Norman Creek at Stones Corner.
