‘Stockpiling is smart’: Queensland mum of 16 Jeni Bonell shares her COVID pandemic shopping tricks

Jeni Bonell is used to raising eyebrows when she gets to the checkout.
But she says her huge grocery hauls aren’t a case of unnecessary hoarding.
Bonell and her husband Ray, from the regional south-east Queensland city of Toowoomba, are mum and dad to 16 children.
That’s nine boys and seven girls, with the eldest aged 31 and the youngest six.
And with 10 of her children still at home, it’s a monumental task to make sure all mouths are fed.
