Gun Kiwi mare Melody Belle “has developed a skin rash” and will be inspected by Racing NSW Veterinarians ahead of her scheduled first-up run in Saturday’s Group II Missile Stakes (1200m) at Rosehill.
The six-year-old mare’s trainer Jamie Richards reported the condition to stewards on Wednesday while also informing them that the 10-time Group I winner “has missed no work” and is “being treated by the stable veterinarian”.
