Steven Miles said the LNP cut 4,400 health workers when it was last in power and that Labor reversed those cuts. Is that correct?

The claim
Queensland will be the latest jurisdiction to go to the polls in the middle of the pandemic, with the Government’s health and economic response to COVID-19 front and centre.
Labor, led by the incumbent Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk, has pitched a jobs-led recovery focusing on health and education.
In the weeks leading up to Labor’s campaign launch, Steven Miles, the Deputy Premier and Minister for Health, consistently attacked the Liberal National Party’s track record on social media, claiming they had slashed jobs in healthcare when they last held office.
