Stead offered to settle AFR defamation case for less money, court told – Sydney Morning Herald
The businesswoman’s lawyer told the Federal Court on Thursday that her settlement offers were rejected.

Justice Lee awarded Dr Stead $280,000 in damages, with $16,000 in interest expected to be paid on top. Dr Stead is seeking indemnity costs from the publisher to cover her legal bill.
