State of Origin 2021: Queensland Maroons set to unveil Paul Green as new coach

Paul Green is set to be named Queensland’s State of Origin coach.
The former Maroons utility will replace Wayne Bennett, who vacated the role after clinching a series victory over New South Wales last year.
Green quit as North Queensland coach in 2020 after an almost seven-year stint at the NRL club which included the 2015 premiership.
He is expected to be officially unveiled by the Maroons on Wednesday or Thursday, after beating out reported co-frontrunner Billy Slater.
