Star recruit appointed Wests Tigers captain before playing a single game for the club – Fox Sports
Wests Tigers’ marquee recruit James Tamou has been appointed captain — before playing a single game for the club.
The club confirmed the news in a statement on Friday.
NRL.com reports Tigers coach Michael Maguire informed the squad on Thursday night, at the end of a week-long camp in Tamworth, that Tamou would take over the captaincy reigns from Moses Mbye.
