More bad injury news for St Kilda ahead of the AFL opening round, with young gun forward Max King ruled out after being hit in the head by a stray golf ball.
Max King has joined St Kilda’s lengthy list of AFL round one absentees after the key forward was concussed by a stray golf ball.
- King, 20, was struck in the head by the golf ball, becoming the sixth St Kilda player to be ruled out of AFL’s round one
- The AFL changed its rules over return to play in January, raising the mandatory recovery period for concussion from six to 12 days
