Spurs’ Gareth Bale bargain revealed – and he could even stay for two seasons – Fox Sports
Gareth Bale has sealed his return to Spurs for the rest of the campaign — but could end up staying for longer.
Welsh superstar Bale was mobbed by fans when he arrived at Tottenhams training ground on Friday to wrap up his season loan from Real Madrid.
The North London club have agreed to pay a percentage of his wages in a bargain deal which amounts to around £12 million ($A21m) for the season and they will officially confirm it today.
That equates to around £230,000 per week ($A408,000) less than half of his estimated £600,00-per-week ($A1,063,000) wages at Real Madrid.
