Spring heatwave continues to deliver above average temperatures across inland Queensland

The spring heatwave is expected to deliver further above average temperatures across many inland parts of the Queensland today and see storms develop this afternoon, the Bureau of Meteorology says.
On Monday, the Maranoa, Warrego and Central West regions recorded some of the highest above average temperatures.
St George and Longreach hit their warmest November days since 2015, hitting 43 and 41.4 degrees Celsius.

Forecaster Ricus Lombard said while the temperatures were not breaking any major records, it had been a while since temperatures were this warm.
He said the trough should move east towards the Darling Downs today, bringing heat and humidity.
