A stubborn blackhead has sparked a mysterious illness in a teen – after she squeezed it and her face swelled up like a balloon inflating in response.
Mary Ann Regacho, 17, from the Philippines, noticed the pimple pop out on the side of her nose last year.
At first, she thought it due to hormonal issues – having given birth to a baby boy the same year.
After a few weeks, she squeezed the spot and a few days later it started to become painful.
Then, to Marys horror, her face started inflating.
