Split decision: QRL board fails to agree on who will take the Maroons coaching job – Fox Sports
The Queensland Rugby League board has failed to agree on who will coach the Maroons next.

The QRL met on Friday in the hope of deciding who will take the job, after Wayne Bennett – who was a last-minute fill-in for Kevin Walters – announced he didnt want to do it this year.
Bennett answered an S.O.S from the QRL and took the reins in November, after Walters had to step aside given he accepted the Broncos gig at the end of the NRL season.
Bennett led the Maroons to an unlikely victory over NSW but he has stepped down from the job once again, leaving an empty seat.
