Spin and reality collide on Australia’s road to economic recovery – Sydney Morning Herald
When it comes to talking about the economy, Treasurer Josh Frydenberg has an inability to stop himself laying it on too thick.

According to Frydenbergs boastful press release, Australia is leading the global economic recovery which is true, provided you dont count some easily missed, minor country up in Asia somewhere whose name begins with Ch. Next to our 1.1 per cent growth, their 7.1 per cent hardly counts.
Did you realise that living standards have risen by a remarkable 5.8 per cent over the past year to a record high? Id love to see Josh trying that one on the blokes in the pub.
