Spain’s future queen has carried out her first ever solo engagement in a major sign she’s preparing for her eventual role as monarch.
Princess Leonor is just 15 years old, but will one day succeed her father King Felipe VI as head of the Spanish royal family.
She attended the 30th anniversary of the Cervantes Institute in Madrid, a public institution founded to promote Spanish language teaching and knowledge of the cultures of Spanish-speaking countries throughout the world.
