SpaceX launched its Falcon 9 rocket into space on Saturday morning and placed 60 Internet satellites in orbit to provide connections to remote areas.
The launch, which was originally scheduled for Wednesday, took off from the Air Force station in Cape Canaveral. The launch went smoothly and the launch vehicle landed safely on the SpaceX drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean.
The Falcon 9 upper stage put the satellites into orbit 63 minutes after launch, allowing SpaceX to build on its earlier successes.
