Australian stargazers could be in for a treat TONIGHT as the Bureau of Meteorology issues a geomagnetic warning for communication disruption.

Stargazers in Australia may be in for a treat tonight with solar activity set to produce auroras in some areas.
A geomagnetic warning was issued by Australias weather bureau after a solar flare and Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) on December 7 hurled plasma and a magnetic field toward earth.
The Bureau of Meteorologys Space Weather Service (SWS) issued the warning for Wednesday and Thursday.
An active to minor storm of geomagnetic activity is expected.
