Souths want clarity from NRL about Roosters Cordner salary cap claim – Sydney Morning Herald
The NRL provided all clubs with an update about Sam Burgess’ medical retirement in 2019, and Souths want the same about Boyd Cordner.

Abdo said there was no favouritism being shown towards the Roosters and were not talking about a new rule or an exception to the rule, were talking about a rule that exists at the moment … and this rules applies to all players at all clubs.
