South-east Queensland shops hit by panic buying ahead of three-day lockdown

South-east Queensland is being hit by panic buying after the Premier announced a three-day COVID-19 lockdown.
Long queues have formed at grocery stores across the region on Friday morning, as seen in the video above.
That’s despite shopping for essentials, food and necessary supplies being permitted under the lockdown, which comes into effect at 6pm.
The lockdown area includes Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Moreton Bay and Redlands.
