South-east Queensland hit with overnight soaking, rain to remain until weekend

Rain continues to fall in south-east Queensland after an overnight drenching that resulted in gauges exceeding 50 millimetres across the region.
The Bureau of Meteorology expects the wet weather to linger for the next four days, with the rain not expected to disappear until the weekend.
