South East Queensland has been belted by heavy storms all day, with some regions recording more than 100mm of rainfall in less than an hour.
The Weather Bureau has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning, with
residents in Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, Redland City, the Gold Coast and Moreton Bay warned of flash flooding.The Queensland Fire and Emergency Services – QFES has advised people to stay away from flood waters, and to remember that if it’s flooded, forget it.
