South Australia to keep New South Wales border open as coronavirus cluster increases

South Australian Premier Steven Marshall says the state will not “immediately” close its border to New South Wales — but health authorities are likely to introduce restrictions on people who have been in Sydney’s Northern Beaches area.
Mr Marshall said this morning that he would not be imposing a blanket ban on travellers from the eastern state.
But he said SA’s Chief Public Health Officer Professor Nicola Spurrier would be outlining other restrictions, to be imposed on people who have been to the Northern Beaches area.
New South Wales today recorded 10 new coronavirus cases linked to the Northern Beaches cluster.
