Riley Meredith will be pinching himself on Friday after learning he became a millionaire overnight thanks to an all-out bidding war for his services in the IPL.
That war was won by Kings XI Punjab who will fork out $1.4 million for the Tasmanian speedster.
Remarkably, the fee is almost 20 times greater than what Meredith set his reserve price at.
