Sony has not released a Compact-branded smartphone since 2018, but OnLeaks (Steve Hemmerstoffer) claims that the Japanese company has a new compact smartphone planned for 2021. By contrast, while the heights of the Xperia 5 II, Xperia 10 II and Xperia L4 are all within 2 mm of each other, they are over 20 mm taller than the Xperia XZ2 Compact and almost 30 mm taller than the Xperia XZ1 Compact.
