‘Someone’s going to get him’: AFL great tees off at ‘goose of the year’ Tigers star Tom Lynch – Fox Sports
Melbourne great David Schwarz has said Richmond forward Tom Lynch could be “goose of the year” if he continues to hit opponents off the ball like he did Gold Coast’s Sam Collins on Monday night.
Lynch drew scrutiny during his sides win for a strike on Collins that left the defender on the ground and visibly fuming after the game.
Speaking on 3AW, Schwarz said Lynch may not be well-equipped to handle retaliation for his actions, the former best and fairest warning him against continuing down what had until this season been an unfamiliar path.
