Sofia Kenin’s Aus Open title defence gets worse with loss to Aussie teen not even ranked – Fox Sports
Reigning Australian Open champion Sofia Kenin’s trip to Australia just got even worse.

The 2020 winner was shocked by 18-year-old Aussie Olivia Gadecki in the second round of the Phillip Island Trophy, losing 2-6 7-6(4) 6-4.
Kenins serve was broken at 4-4 in the third set. She then had two break points at 15-40 as Gadecki served for the match; however the teenager saved them both, earned match point with an ace and converted it with a forehand winner.
