Social media war erupts over mega-fight collapse as Wilder offers Fury $26m lifeline
If their heavyweight bout in August doesnt go ahead, Tyson Fury wants to fight Anthony Joshua for £20 million (A$37m) with bare knuckles.
Fury and Joshua were all but locked in to fight in Saudi Arabia on August 14 until the unification bout was thrown into jeopardy by an order for the former to fight Deontay Wilder a third time.
ESPN and The Athletic reported this week that an independent arbitrator ruled that Fury must face Wilder in a rematch by September 15.
That has sparked a war of words…
