The George Williams situation might have gone quiet for the time being in the national capital but there is still plenty going on behind the scenes.
Williams is currently holidaying on the Gold Coast – so much for being homesick – while the England halfback tries to resolve his contract termination with the Canberra Raiders.
Predictably, another NRL club has already fielded a call to gauge interest in adding Williams to its roster for next year.
