A billion or a lot more Android equipment are susceptible to hacks that can transform them into spying instruments by exploiting a lot more than 400 vulnerabilities in Qualcomms Snapdragon chip, scientists noted this week.
The vulnerabilities can be exploited when a goal downloads a movie or other information that is rendered by the chip. Targets can also be attacked by setting up malicious apps that involve no permissions at all.
