Victorias acting Premier James Merlino says he cant rule out taking further action as coronavirus cases soar, sparking fears a looming lockdown could still be on the cards.
On Wednesday morning, it was confirmed that Victorias COVID-19 infections have spiked overnight, with health authorities confirming six new cases.
Five other cases included in todays total number were already confirmed throughout the day on Tuesday.
That brings the total number of cases in this cluster to 15.
