The class action alleges it engaged in significant breaches of its continuous disclosure obligations and misleading and deceptive conduct.
It alleges Deloitte failed in its duties in signing off on Freedom Foods accounts each financial year between 2014 and the first half of 2020.
Deloitte has itself identified significant irregularities in the companys accounts going back several years as part of the 2020 financial report issued on November 30, it said.
