Victoria recorded six new cases yesterday, bringing the states total to 206.
This is a 36% drop on the 326 active cases reported at the same time last week.
Of the active cases, 58 were linked to aged care outbreaks.
Metropolitan Melbournes 14-day rolling average dropped below 10 to 9.9, down from 10.6 the day before, and remained unchanged on 0.3 in regional Victoria.
There were two more deaths, including a woman in her 80s and a man in his 90s.
This brought the states death toll to 809.
