Actress Patricia Healey, the wife of music icon Engelbert Humperdinck, has died aged 85.
The British singer shared the sad news on Facebook and Instagram over the weekend, announcing Healey passed away days after the couple revealed they had contracted COVID-19. Healey was also battling Alzheimer’s disease at the time of her death.
“Our family is heartbroken over the loss of my darling wife,” wrote Humperdinck, 84. “Last night, she slipped softly away, as if by Gods clockwork.”
