Singapore has approved Pfizer-BioNTech’s coronavirus vaccine, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong says, with shots expected to arrive by year-end.
Singapore has approved the Pfizer/BioNTech coronavirus vaccine, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong says, paving the way for its deployment in the city-state late this year or in early 2021.
“I am very happy to tell you that after studying the scientific evidence and clinical trial data, the Health Sciences Authority has approved the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for pandemic use,” Lee said during a televised speech on Monday.
He said he expected “other vaccines to arrive in Singapore in the coming months”…
