Simulations show that the Webb telescope can reveal distant galaxies hidden…
This artists illustration shows two galaxies that existed in the first billion years of the universe. The larger galaxy on the left houses a brilliant quasar in its center, the glow of which is powered by hot matter that surrounds a supermassive black hole. Scientists reckon that the resolution and infrared sensitivity of NASAs upcoming James Webb Space Telescope will allow it to spot a dusty host galaxy like this despite the quasars searchlight.
